Privacy Policy

Pyramii is made by Mirrors Production LLC, a Texas company ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use Pyramii, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: hello@pyramii.com.

What we collect

• Waitlist. Your email address and the date you joined.
• Your account. Your email, your username, and your password. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication. We never see them.
• Orbs you plant. The title, artist name, text, photo or video, exact location, and your username. Orbs are public: anyone using Pyramii can see them and where they are.
• Your location. Pyramii uses your phone's location to show what's near you and to unlock dots when you arrive. That happens on your phone. We don't keep a record of where you go. The only locations we store are the dots you choose to plant, and, if you use Ray-Ban Display glasses, the destination you send from your glasses to your phone, stored under a private code only your devices know.
• Ratings, comments and follows. The stars you give orbs, what you write in an orb’s comments (shown with your username to other signed-in members), the posts you like, and which creators you follow.
• Reports. If you report an orb, we store which orb, your reason, and your account ID so we can review it.
• On your phone. Pyramii saves a few small things on your device, like your username and glasses code, so the app loads faster.

How we use it

To run Pyramii: to let you sign in, show and unlock orbs, connect your glasses, keep the app safe, review reports, and email you about your account or when Pyramii opens to the waitlist. We don't sell your information and we don't show ads.

Services we rely on

Some of your information passes through services that help Pyramii work:

• Google Firebase for accounts, the database, and storing uploaded photos and videos.
• Cloudflare to host the app and run Pyramii's server.
• Stadia Maps for the map images.
• Resend to send Pyramii's emails (sign-up, password reset, account notices).
• Stripe to process card payments when you buy keys. Your card details go straight to Stripe; Pyramii never sees or stores them.
• Google reCAPTCHA to check that requests come from the real Pyramii app.
• OpenStreetMap and its community services (map images, the Overpass place search, and walking directions). When you view the map or look for places or directions, the area you're looking at or your start and destination are sent to them.
• YouTube or Vimeo, if an orb plays a video hosted there.
• Apple Maps or Google Maps, when you tap for driving directions.
• Meta, if you use Pyramii on Ray-Ban Display glasses.
• Google Fonts for the typefaces.

Each of these has its own privacy policy.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while your account is active or you're on the waitlist. You can edit or delete any orb you planted from the Plant page, and deleting an orb also deletes its uploaded file. You can delete your whole account yourself anytime under Account on the Pyramii home screen, which removes your dots and their files, your comments, likes, ratings and follows, your username, and your waitlist spot. Records of keys you bought or spent, and of what creators earned, are kept for accounting and tax purposes even after an account is deleted. Dots from free accounts that haven't been opened in 3 months are removed after we email a 14-day warning. To leave the waitlist without an account, or to get a copy of your information, email hello@pyramii.com from the address on your account, and we'll take care of it within 30 days.

Children

Pyramii isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email hello@pyramii.com and we'll delete it.

Security

We use access rules so only you can change your orbs and only our team can see the waitlist and reports. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and for important changes we'll let you know in the app or by email.
